Busted out the 870 with ghost rings sight. Such a beast with slugs.

Here's my favorite range toy, which I used as my training wheels for going through the NFA process for the first time right before the ATF dropped Rule 41F on us.

Walther HK 416 clone in .22LR. Can shoot the little bugger all day long for less than a nickel per round. With cheap Amazon red-dot and laser, it's fun for all sorts of plinking games.

Of course, nowadays hardly anyone bothers to do SBR builds, thanks to the ATF's relaxed ruling on stabilizng braces. I'm still glad to have set up my gun trust, because you never know when rulings might get reversed, and suppressors are still NFA items.

Just got done upgrading my Glock 43. I switched to an Agency Arms drop in trigger, Trijicon Bright and Tough sights, True Precision fluted/threaded barrel, and Cerakoted/cnc'd slide.

I grew up watching Miami Vice, and wanted a Bren Ten like Sonny Crockett's from the moment I first saw an article about it in Guns & Ammo. Some folks here may know the tragic tale of Dornaus & Dixon, and I've accepted the fact that I'm more likely to own a white Ferrari Testarossa than I am one of the roughly 1500 Bren Tens ever made. But I guess I never scratched that 10mm itch over all the years, though I'd been close on several occasions.

I enjoyed shooting my Springer 1911 so much after I bought it, that it sparked the idea of adding Colt's legendary 10mm to my lineup. So after doing some research and deciding that I wanted one of the latest Deltas with all the modern bells and whistles, I picked one up off Gunbroker for a song...

First impression: my Springfield LWCO is definitely better constructed, but the Delta Elite is a pretty pistol with those brushed flats and matte rounds (too bad I'm not a better photographer to show this off).

Second impression: Damn, 10mm ball is expensive! Ultimately, I ordered some target ammo from Freedom Munitions.

Shooting impression: The Delta shot great right out of the box. I was expecting it to be a bit of a beast, after all the things I've read about 10mm Auto, but Colt's dual-spring system kept it quite tame. Of course, I doubt the range ammo I was shooting was comparable to the hot stuff that exists out there, but I was pleased with how easy the gun handled. Overall, I was very pleased with the purchase and happy to finally own a 10mm and my first Colt! (I'll own a Python one day...one day.)

Nice! The 1911 is a great platform for the 10mm.

I've got some fun things, but the Benelli M4 is the one firearm I'll never sell (greatest shotgun ever made). Hilarious to see politicians etc. get all bent out of shape over the evil looking rifles, when the M4 is far more devastating in my opinion. Full length tube gives me 7+1+1 and you can put damn near anything in it, it even cycles birdshot which is pretty amazing. The most fun is putting 3" magnum buckshot shells in, each with 15 ball. You can go 6+1+1 with 3" shells so that's like 120 .38 specials coming out in a couple seconds (not to mention the wadding which makes even bigger holes close up). Put the 3" magnum slugs in there to shake the floor of the range and have everybody come over to see what the deal is.

I think I might just go the brace route so I don't need a SBR stamp.

Vortex Venom is def one of the sights I am looking at.

I wanted a suppressor, but the legit brands cost more than the gun.

What's another $200 for the sbr to do it right... with how much the braces are, I didn't flinch going the sbr route. I have an AR pistol that I'm not overly fond of, working on my SBR paperwork for the one right now.

I looked at all the red dots, going to go venom on this and one for my ruger mark III. Putting the luepold on my EDC G19 and my bedside CZp09

As far as the suppresors, don't believe all the hype. it's almost criminal what these manufacturers claim. I wouldn't spend more than 4 or 500 on a 9mm can. It's like any hobby, people get hung up on the most minute details online. take a look at rebel silencers. They have a can for 250. The company has had some growing pains but I have three of their cans and have been very happy.

Its not just the money, its the absurd wait for the ATF to get your stamp to you so that you can shoot your new gun without committing a felony. Its also the yearly paperwork you have to keep up with if you ever want to take your gun across state lines. For these reasons, many people are asking themselves why bother? when it comes to going the SBR route right now.

May I suggest Scalarworks Sync mount for the RMR on your Benelli? I have this setup on my M4 and you can co-witness the red dot with your ghost ring sights. I included a pic but be aware that the dot is clear in person... It's just difficult to get a perfect picture with an iPhone camera.

Agreed, go the brace route. I compared the CZ carbine stock vs the Tailhook Mod 1 brace back-to-back recently on a Scorpion pistol and there is almost zero compromise with the brace.

+1 on a can as well. Currently run a Scorpion pistol w/ carbine handguard + SiCo Octane 45. When shooting 158gr ammo the only thing you hear is the mechanical cycling of the bolt

Here is a fantastic 9mm can at a super steep discounted price...if you have a decent Class III shop near by that does transfers for a reasonable price, I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it:

Just found this thread.

My every day carry is a Glock 43. I generally left it alone because I want it to be reliable, but I did replace the mag plates with +1 pieces form Pearce, some rubberized grip, and a trigger connector from Ghost to lighten up what felt like a really heavy pull.

I also shoot the occasional competition with my S&W M&P 9mm. Only modification on that so far is a slide plate cover with Pusheen the Cat on it (Because memes are important)

Thanks for the tip, but I like the dot raised just a bit! It might be bad technique or whatever, but without the dot my cheek really takes a pounding while slug spitting. If I shoot more than a dozen or so 3" magnum slugs I'll develop a bruise on my cheek. The dot gets my head up just enough to where my face doesn't take a pounding from the recoil. ;P

But thanks a lot for showing me that, and nice Benelli btw!

My new CZ Scorpion arrived today.

Plans are to NOT SBR it, will probably get a pistol brace, red dot sight (probably venom), 30 round mag because the 20 is a little two short for the look, and finally a silencer if I can find a good quality cheaper one (a silencerco one costs more than this gun cost me)

Cerakote looks great! Stippling looks nicely done as well! Seems like that picatinny rail on the bottom of the grip would chew up your hand eventually though, no?

I just can't help but think that with a hot load (slugs, 3.5") that pistol grip is going to rock your wrist pretty good....wouldn't it? You ever shot something like that with pistol grip?

I assume that can be changed around to add a shoulder stock to it.
