:/ E90 Aftermarket Radio Install Tip?
Hello! I need the simplest temporary solution to connect common Pioneer head unit and 2007 e90 HI FI sound system. Need just sound no steer. controls ect. So my question is how to connect OEM e90 HI FI amp and aftermarket radio correctly.
OEM CCC radio (old unit) connector --- to ---> common Pioneer head unit Is it enough just to buy wire adapters link1 and link 2 and just plug and play. In this case only speaker outs are used from aftermarket unit. Could that damage the OEM amp? or I need to use also low RCA to OEM amp? I would appreciate any info on this... |

I'd pony up and get a used CCC for about $250 which is plug and play. For a bit more money and work you can do a CIC retrofit which is what I ended up doing when my e91's CCC went out. |

If you already have nav/idrive
If you already have nav/idrive it will be a big mess
unless you are an electronic genius and will kill your idrive. Better to do the OEM nav upgrade or NBT upgrade. |
