I would buy Lux, but I was looking to spend no more than $45 hahaha

$100?
I might as well buy Lux. Is it supposed to be "better?"

Lux doesn't make a solution for pre-lci. So you're stuck with me. It will be equal or better output than LUX.

My selling point is that these will be the only PnP LED solutions with the use of OPTICS to utilize the stock halogen reflectors.

It seems like a lot of coin but messing with light bulbs can be a slippery slope until you get it 'just right'. i went through this with my other vehicles and ended up wasting a few bucks until i was happy.

the nice thing about the LUX back up lights is they are 'just right'. You truly feel like your much safer backing up when you look behind you. You'll buy the bulbs once, and be done with it. they are the right color, they are the right brightness and the perfect fit.

as mentioned in the other thread we participated in where i took some flaming (what else is new around here ) like ANY led, they will blink when you start the car, but you can have it coded out.

Any updates?
Otherwise, I'm about to buy these things in a month or less.

I just installed my Lux Reverse Lights in 20 min total on my e92 and they look pretty good and like stated, no thrown codes. I highly recommend them.

I got the Putco T-type 921's.

So I tried to put these in today and of course, no go.
I will be speaking with the CariD techs tomorrow.
They advertise them for the e92, but fail to cover the
fitment issue like Lux did. I will report back soon...

A steal considering they are 100% error-free, bright as shit, and flawless looking! I'll tell you- lux angel eyes are the best company for angel eye and reverse LED lighting hands-down! I have them in my car- they're amazingly bright and worth every penny.
It is not easy to produce that kind of LED, with that kind of brightness, with no errors in the system.

Spoke with the techs at CARiD today. They admit the
LED's shouldn't have been advertised as e92
compatible. They are taking the lights back, no
problem.
Also they report they are working on compatible
lighting with no date given for possible ordering.
fwiw...

Hey, did they sort this out for you yet?

CARiD and the PUTCO lights are about the only solution I have found for changing the color of my H7 bulbs on my E82....

It'd be cool to have another option.
