When is the right time to give your e90/e92 the first car wash?

I know this might be the wrong place but since we are talking about first times and all, I was wondering how soon I should fill up with my first tank of gas?

Take this advice seriously! I had a red '95 Thunderbird that I hadn't washed in a while and the dust (I live in central California for those 'in the know') on it was pretty bad...you know...from the driver's seat the hood looks almost white

I really don't mind a dirty car too much because it's rare when they go too long without a wash. I DO mind some jackass reminding me about it
