MHD Tuning

Martial, where art thou?

Just hoping that you have some sort of update for all of us E9X N55 owners amongst us.

Is there any good news? Anything of note to come in ensuing months? I'm sure I'm not the only one feverishly waiting for this to happen!

Better yet, is this something we can hope/look forward to?

Yes there is. He told me that they will be starting developments in " Q1 2016". I'll keep my Cobb protune till then, and make the switch once bugs are fixed.

Hmm, thank you for the information. Back when I inquired personally (a few months ago), Martial wasn't sure, but was warming up more to the idea of it. I assumed that by now there would be some sort of 'confirmation'.

With that said then, looks like we can expect to see (presumably) the actual product, beta or not, around April/May of 2016--at least judging off of when I remember first seeing information about the N54 MHD and when it actually became available as a download.

I would venture to say the same around that time. I plan to hold on to my Cobb protune until I see developments in action because it'll become a hot item. I just can't believe how cheap it is. Either way, it's exciting news.

Yes, this would be awesome news! We should be able to open up more maps than what Cobb has also and hopefully take care of the misfire issue! If this takes off it will definitely open up the N55 E90 platform! I am very excited and I should be putting my PS2 right around that time and getting rid of this little PS1.

Hi,

I will look into the n55 topic in Q1. I will study technical feasibility and cost, OTS maps partnership etc. There is no guarantee that MHD will be available some day for n55, but I'll do my homework.

Thanks for at least checking in to it! Since Cobb can already flash it, I have faith you guys can take that and really push the platform forward.

It would be great if it ends up happening at some point. I'm looking for someone to remove the speed limiter from 135mph when the 1/2 mile run returns next summer here.

MHD Tuning Any new word on this? Since we got official word that Cobb won't be taking this platform any farther I think it is a great opportunity for you guys!

Hey just a quick question : steve from fuel it said im maxing out my trims on my latest logs even if i played with the ÔL setting and i should get the pump flash. I have a 2011 n55 i thought the pump flash was only available for n54 ?? If thats not the case where can i download it for my n55

you need a cobb ap to flash it but you can get both, pump flash and e85 flash from n54tech. Although without a turbo upgrade, a backend flash won't do much for you.
