Rookie: E91 Wheel and Tire Fitment?

New to BMW modifications

Just took delivery of a brand-used F31 and the older 2012 E91 328xdrive is going to become a "fun" car....so....my question is:

Ive got a opportunity to buy a set of 18x9.5 ET34 with 255/40 tires...will these fit my E91? On stock suspension? On 1.3" lowered spring/coilovers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Should be fine.

You will probably need a 5mm spacer for the front wheels to clear the struts. Depending on your camber settings, the front will poke out a little past the fender.

The rear will fit fine and could use a 5-10mm spacer to make the wheels flush with the fender.

Heres a crystal clear (kidding) photo of 18x9.5 +35 255/35 with a 5mm front spacer

I think that the 255/40/18 will rub. 9.5 width and 30-35 offset is also super tight, I don't think I'd run that.

One thing you can always do is put your current and desired specs on willtheyfit.com and it will spit out the increase in poke (and change in diameter if applicable), which you can then estimate fitment by measuring the room between your current tires and fenders

I'd look to run somewhere around the 18x8 + 13 and 18x9.5 +25. Its kinda the golden setup in my opinion to clear everything for 9.5 rear and 8 front without any spacers. That also happens to be the size of Genuine e38 M pars that bolt right one haha
