Do you keep an odb device plugged in? I realized that was causing a parasitic drain on mine.

I suspect a similar issue on my car.. and I've replaced (and registered/coded) with an OEM AGM battery twice now! I suspect it may be due to my dashcam, which is hardwired but is supposed to stop drawing power when battery voltage gets below a certain level. Unsure if that power management device isn't cutting off the power, or what. Haven't had time to look further.

I do also have an aftermarket stereo, but confirmed that the amps do turn off when the car is off, so I'm less suspicious of that vs. the dashcam.

Have the battery checked to rule it out.

If you don't have any known added aftermarket culprits, then comes the fun part of discovering any loose/weak connections around the car.

Have you looked at the little sight glass at the top of the bmw battery? It should be green for good and black means it needs replacing IIRC

Also, any chance your bluetooth is remaining connected and making the stereo head unit stay powered?
