I dont have an N55 but I'll add that I used to believe in this method, launch high rpm 2nd gear. Results for me were high 12's... launching 2k rpms in 1st cut my ET by half a second.... just sayin

Wow! About the same 60' as me but what a huge difference on the top end. Damn! I just flashed the XHP trans flash. I hope it helps the 60' for me.

My best before was only with JB4 map 2 (14psi) did 13.05 as best. My car is now FBO (minus intercooler because I'm running meth) and on a very very aggressive E30 tune (22 psi). Wont know until the track opens up on the 28th!

Last year at the track, best i could run was a 13.1@107 with 60' of 2.0 with a hella flush setup lol. Mods at the time were Intake, DP, CP, E30 JB4 ISO MAP 5. Im now FBO with E30 MHD tune from wedge. Hoping to run a way better time. Car is 6MT RWD, what rpm launch would you guys consider to be good? i felt around 3k rpm was the threshold for traction before spinning too much through 1st.

Put some drag radials on the back. You'll be fighting traction for the rest of your life without them.

btw im going back soon on tmap sensor 23 psi and a bit of ethanol and 100% meth so i plan on going 12.0 and then do a nfl touchdown dance at the end of the strip

Went to the track tonight. Ran 12.41 @ 110.19 with a nice 1.708 60 ft.

Custom E30 tune, catless downpipe and a 30/70 mix of methanol on a 500cc jet. Stock paper air filter and intercooler.

Aggressive timing. At 4500 we are standing on the timing. Checkout my custom E30 thread here. I was only running 30% meth. I'll run 50 next time and get a drop in filter.

Yea i got same ranging from 5 to 10-11 *
Why not run 90/10 meth ? Which tires you had and what was your lsunching technique i can only do 1.8
I rarely go 1.7 i spin on michelin pss

Got 12.73 at @107mph

FBO+MHD E30 OTS, with a 60" 1.777

launched first gear (xdrive) and shifted around 5800-5900 to keep boost steady

I feel like this isn't as fast of a time?

Solid 60'. Try shifting around 5300 on the stock turbo. Great job for the first time out!

11.64 @ 121.xx last Wednesday. Track was slippery (cold surface) and I had bad race gas, so my timing was crap. Going back again soon.
