Bilstein B12 vs. Bilstein B8 + Eibach Pro Kit

Is there any difference between the two if I purchase B8 shocks and eibach pro kit springs seperately or essentially the same thing?

I firmly believe that it's the same stuff just packaged in a bigger branded box.

That was the case when I ordered a B12 kit form Germany (to Sweden) for my E46.
Got these boxes in a bigger box which I unfortunately didn't take a picture of (but it was Bilstein/Eibach-branded):

And the individual parts matched the article numbers of regular Eibach or Bilstein parts.

The bigger box looks like this (random google find)

I believe the B12 are B8s but with specifically tuned springs to work with the b8s.

Otherwise, buying the springs separately, you would get Springs with slightly different spring rates.

B12 is an engineered kit.

You would have to compare part numbers to know for sure

You mean to tell me that the Eibach springs that come with the B12 kit are IDENTICAL to those you would buy separately as the Pro-Kit?

I understood they were slightly different and designed to work SPECIFICALLY with the B8 shocks from Bilstein

They are not specifically tuned for B8 shocks as a kit, lol. They're the same springs you can buy a la carte.

That's what I figured, but just wanted to get a consensus.

Am I okay using my factory bump stops with Eibach Pro Kit Springs? I have the M sport suspension right now.

Nope. The B8's come with their own bump stops. With the struts, they are built in. The shocks come with them.

The consensus came from Chris, as he is the e90post shock god.
