BMW PE and throttle response?

Hi, I've searched a little and also reached out to a vendor on the PE for the 328
All I am looking for is improved throttle response. I asked the Q and the response was it should but honestly I probably won't feel it.
I do intend to dump the PBX and get the AA tune.
He said the exhaust is really just for looks (tips) and sound.
I'm not sure it's worth investing $1k into something that help little to nothing at all. I refuse to ghetto the back with a muffler delete and have pipes hanging there.
So anyone with a 328 that has a PE or another kind of exhaust with or without an AA tune, how would you rate the rsponse on the throttle? I need to lose some of the lag anytime I try to pass or take off at reds.

Thanks

Billy

PE won't affect throttle response, only remapping will which AA does.

PE does make your RPM rev a little more free.

I have the AA tune 3 stage mani and a PE. Love it. If you plan on keeping your car, even if youre not...do it
