bluetooth in search all the time

hey guys, I recently disconnected the battery for something, now my bluetooth despite turned off in settings continuously keeps searching and shows 3 or 4 bars, I'm the only one in the car with phone bluetooth tirned off ... anyway this is making ht Idrive extremely slow doing other things

Is there a way to correct this ?

I'm having almost the same problem. I've searched elsewhere on the forum but everyone else's problem seems to be idrive related and I don't have that...

My issue is a little different than yours because I paired my phone to a rental car and now it won't reconnect to my car.
