car export question

i am thinking of exporting a car out of the country. Does anyone have experenice with this issue? I am thinking of shipping a car back to Taiwan. I have the canadian passport.

or does anyone know where i could find information on this issue?

If you're a Canadian citizen , and if you drove you car more than 4 month in Canada. I don't think there is going to be any problem exporting your car back to Taiwan.

Export isnt hard but import in taiwan is what u need to find out my frd asked once and find taxes high as well as the inspecting n documentation unless u can get away with those

ya...he asked several shipping companies in vancouver..and he was thinking to ship his m3 back to taiwan...due to all the taxes and documentation and etc.. the cheapest he find locally is around $20000 cant remember exact amount but definitly more than that...than he decided not to..but than he was saying the shipping company told him if he has connections in taiwan to help him get away with those stuff will be alot cheaper

ya man cuz im thinking of shipping a Mx5 or Mx6 back to taiwan. So if the taxes are worth it im goin to order one. Anyways thanks. I ll just msn you if i have more questions. lol
