Michelin PS4S Availability

So I finally bit the bullet and decided to update my summer setup to 19".

Ordered some black V710s and 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear PS4S.

I was shocked when the supplier came back and said that the 275 rears were not only out of stock, but DISCONTINUED? They then went on to suggest Pirelli Pzero as a replacement, which I definitely don't want.

Is there any shred of truth to this at all? I can't believe it.

Damn, You are going 19s? that ride is going to be rough with TO roads xD but I am not here to bash you on your decision. VMR is a good wheel as for the PS4S availability. You should call Michelin support directly and ask.

As an update to all I DID reach out to Michelin, and as suspected the tire is not discontinued.

Will let you all know the outcome and will identify the supplier that's pulling this crap. I suspect that maybe their back end prices went up after I made the order and they shit the bed passing it on in time and are just trying to get out of this situation.

I've realized how shitty 99% of suppliers are recently. So many lies. If you can't get the Michelins, try something like the Continental ECS, they're pretty similar.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I was going to just get some Indy 500's again, but the good news is I finally got a good CSR who apologized and directly called their supplier and confirmed that they could get the tire on backorder and that it is indeed not discontinued. I'm so impressed with my Alpin PA4 winters as a first time Michelin buyer that I wanted to give Michelin another chance.

Case closed. Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
