Hey guys looks like we're getting another recall on the injectors.

With the N54 engine produced from 04/01/2007 through 11/30/2008.

Give it a few weeks for more details on the recall.

I'd love to see where you saw this, I called BMW USA and two of my local dealers two weeks ago and they said no recall even though my car was made during this time period.

Never went into a recall, what happens if car has got aftermarket parts like catless downpipes and fmic ?

Aftermarket parts don't matter since our cars are well out of factory warranty. I've had recalls fixed and it's never been a problem.

I was literally going to buy new injectors this week and just saw this. I would love to save $1400. Don’t go getting my hopes up. Ha.

I had to check to make sure this wasn't a resurrected thread - there's no way they will warranty a 12 year old cars injectors.

I’ll take a new HPFP while they’re at it. It’s been a few years since it was last replaced. Would love a new one to go with the soon to be ordered Helix OD.

All seriousness, don’t go getting a bunch of N54’s owners hopes up like this. That’s just mean if this isn’t happening. Ha.

I PM'd the guy and he said the email was just send out, and it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for it to reach all dealers, but that's if it's true lol

Injectors already had a service bulletin, but it was only to update "failing injector(s)". And that was a while back.

I hope this is true and that it reached over to Canada.

a recall has zero relevance to warranty status or how old a car is, if its been recalled it gets fixed regardless of age, miles or mods
