Issues doing donuts or burnouts haaha?

This is why I chose manual even tho a 335is

Does it still do it in manual mode with the paddles?

If you turn off DTC completely and do a clutch dump by hitting the kickdown it will let you do a rolling burnout and let it bounce off the limiter for a bit. I've done rolling burnouts and donuts this way. But to truly stop it from upshifting on redline I think you need to code it with the m3 GTS software.

Wow, never knew there wasn't a true manual mode in the non-M DCT's. Kind of disappointing.

Mine will hold redline till a rod goes through the block. You need M3/GTS DCT software, and to run that, a host of other parts.

You also need the other M3 hardware parts to run the software.

Here's what you need,

M3 GWS (shifter module), boot and knob, center console trim with drivelogic button and center console switch cluster, M3 drivetrain (driveshaft, axles, diff with 3.15 gear). You'll also need a couple different connectors to repin the shifter module and some more coding besides the DCT flash.

You can substitute the M3 drivetrain with a final drive that falls somewhere in between 2.81 and 3.15. Like using the diff from a 335d. It uses the same case and has a 2.81 final drive. The M3 option is a much better choice just because of the beefier connections, components, and LSD.

It wasn't that bad. I did a lot of other M3 upgrades in the process too. Can't argue with your deal though.

I love this car and if it was a bit newer id spend the money but it's been a nightmare compared to my 335xi, still love it to death.
