"Wind" Noise inside the car?

Driving at normal speed limit, I can hear some wind coming inside the car through the windows although all the windows are properly shut...so not too bothered...

But when driving at 150mph, it was like there was a hurricane in my car!!!...I only noticed it yesterday.

Could anyone comment please, as I did make sure that all the windows were properly closed. The "wind noise" was coming through the back bit of the door window glass on both sides....(driver and passenger) ....is this normal? I did have a similar problem with my peugeot, (but it was a peugeot!!!) and it was only on motorways....

mine is the same , try opening and closing the windows at high speed becuase of the size of them they don't always line back up and close so have to slow down and retry.

That won't really help... The coupe simply gets too much wind noise inside the cabin at high speeds... Unfortunately...

How often do you actually hit 150mph?

Not much consolation to the O/P but the Porsche has slightly more wind noise at lower speeds from memory of my E92, but less at higher speeds.

I was going to suggest that possibly the doors may need 'nipping' up as my drivers door did, but then you said it's coming from both sides. Unless the passenger door is used frequently as well?

I did not mean that as a cure to the problem I was saying that it is a bigger problem if you open the windows at speed as they dont line up when closing due to the windspeed and the size of the windows , I opened mine at speed once and it would not close so had to stop and do it again was ok after now I just leave them shut when driving at speed.

When you drive at that speed the air pressure is pulling your door windows outward and breaking the seal - that's why you're getting the wind noise. The problem is exaggerated on cars with frameless windows as the glass is not in a track. Not sure there's much you can do about it but it's not unusual.

I wouldn't recommend this as the windows may not seal at all when you close them going 150mph...
