Ok guys here is the info on the track days as promised. The 2 classroom days will be in conjunction with the Monaco & German Grand Prix being viewed @ Durham BMW and this will also be catered. We have lined up a very experianced group of instructors to work with everybody. Most off it will be a very fun day!

BMW Durham would like to introduce to you our new Driver Education Training Program.
This event consists of two components, a catered in-class instructional day followed by a practical track day at Mosport on the Driver Development Track.
The introductory price is $349.00/person and also includes a pre and post inspection of your vehicle.
There will be two sessions offered (May 24th/29th and July 12th/17th). All students will be required to bring their own helmet; we will also be offering helmets at a special discounted price through one of our partners.
Only Hardtop Convertibles with pop up roll bars (model E93) or soft tops with proper roll bars will be allowed on the track.

There are lots of people organizing the Mosport GP track if you wish to go take part in that.I personaly feel(and a lot of experianced racers that I know)that the GP track is not a place to be instructing new track students the basics of high performance driving.I have instructed there many times in the last 20 years with the Porsche,BMW,Ferrari,Corvette club and a few more with some great days but with those great days there have been a few incidents that were quite hairy with student & instructors in the cars. For experianced drivers it is quite a great place but not as a place to learn.I was at the DDT last year for a racers only day in my M3 and had a great time and was quite surprised at how much fun we had on that track so do not knock it till you have tried it.
