never thought I'd say this but I feel old in this thread at 27 - I didn't get my E90 until this month ... at 20 I was driving around in a Civic. I went to UH for undergrad also and had a black s2000 hardtop during that time - one of my buddies there had a white E90 330 with blacklines

oh, now i remember why i posted in this thread.
anyone know a good detailer !?!? like, not a person that's gonna throw some wax on my car and be done in an hour - i need a professional with professional equipment to take care of my black sedan, someone with a pretty decenmt list of chemicals/equipment like this: Wheels were cleaned with Showroom FX's Wheel Cleaner and Various Brushes Car was washed with with Chemical Guy's Citrus Wash and Gloss through an Autogeek Foam Gun Claymagic Claybar was used to remove the contaminants from the paint before polishing The car was compounded with Meguiar's M105 via Flex and Orange pad at speed 6 The car was then finished off with Meguiar's M205 via Flex and Green pad at speed 5 Everything was sealed using Showroom FX Blazin Maize sealant on Black pad at speed 3 The car received the final wipedown with Showroom FX's Detail Mist with Showroom FX Gray Plush Microfibers The wheels and exhaust tips were lightly cleaned/polished/sealed with Chemical Guy's Metal Polish The Wheels/Trim/Rear Valance/Front Grill were dressed with Chemical Guy's VRP Dressing and I used the Showroom FX 4" applicator puck for the tires. It's easily the best tire applicator I have used. The Wheel Wells were treated with Chemical Guy's Bare Bones spray |

Wow, do you know the guy from H-I ??
Paint resto is exactly what I'm looking for...I didn't notice how hazy and swirly my car looked until I washed it during the middle of the day...looked disappointing... |

Hey all,
new bmw owner from houston here. Nothing too exciting just a daily beater 328i w/sports package. I see some people from H-I here oh btw, are stock 328is welcome to the meet ? I've been out of the scene since i sold my Camaro SS but seems like a nice mature crowd here. Last edited by goztepe2002; 12-29-2010 at 01:06 PM.. |

Who has the black E92 6MT with blacked out emblems on the NW side? I saw it at Tenshi Sushi on Jones Rd recently. Sexxxy ride.

there are a couple of shorter weighted knobs that BMW makes that will shorten the throw quite a bit. The trade-off is the that shifting will be "notchy-er". My 09 has Msport and came with the shorter M-sport knob and I like it.
