Deep Concave Wheels - Would you buy?
I want to get new wheels. I have chosen Forgestar F14 Super Deep Concave size 19"...
What color looks best on a AW e90? I know I don't want the following Gold, Hot Pink, Sapphire Blue, Sunset Orange, Electric Green, and Silver. The colors left are Piano Black, Matte Black, Titanium and Gunmetal. Does anyone have these wheels and can share their experience both style and driving abilities... ? |

Really depends what you like. I went with Black SDC's just because I wasn't really sure how the bronze would look (now I kind wish I had bronze or gunmetal) but at the same time, the black hides the brake dust pretty well and gives it a kind of bronze look (might just be my pads doing that), on top of the subtle look (cops don't really look my way).
As far as driving abilities go, I haven't really had issues (other than my stretch), but I did have to go with a stud conversion because I wasn't sure how long of a bolt I'd need. Also, the bmw centercaps don't fit (you have to use Forgestar ones) and they're a pain in the ass. I ended up breaking mine and now I just dont use them. |

My car is an MSport AW and glossy black or matte black would fit well... Don't know about gunmetal unless the black just doesn't look as nice when the vehicle is in motion... |

F black. Boring, overdone, common. Get gunmetal, bronze, or copper. Your pic is a bronze. Looks great. I'm going liquid bronze inners, polished hoops, with gold or red bolts.

I'd say I agree with what these guys are saying. If I could choose again, I'd go either bronze or Gunmetal, maybe even titanium. Black is nice and gives a real clean look, but you don't stand out as much because it's harder to see the details.
But it's your car, and you have a plan for it. I'm working a theme with the black. Work yours with whatever you get. |

I would love to see pics. I desperately want wheels with a black face and a bronze lip and didn't realize you could get the forgestar with combo colors... I thought they came all one color.
