Does brake rotor size matters??

So I ordered a pair of front rotors from FCPEURO months ago, brake rotors type Zimmermann 34116854998 size 300x24mm for my 2007 328xi N51 sedan. After replacing my old rotors to the aftermarket ones I started noticing squeaking noise from the front wheels when i brake slowly to a complete stop & steering wheel started vibrating a little bit ever since. I thought i got the right sizes but when i went back to my order & check the same rotors i ordered it says "Part may not fit click to verify" I clearly didn't see that when I ordered them but I am a lil confuse because when I talked to customer service about the zimmermann i bought he said the rotors should fit and when i check the OEM front rotors it is size 312x24mm. Does it make any differences?? It would not be normal since i bought them last year on July. Please help !

How many kms have you driven with them? My new discs/pads squeeked for about a 1000km. Apparently you can avoid this by filing a little bit of the corners, said the mechanic afterwards

You also have the wrong sizes for your rotors or both pads/rotors? I've driven with them for about 2500km now and the noise and vibration is still here & is annoying asf. But that kinda sucks from what you're saying right now. What do you mean by filing the corners

Garage List
You bought the wrong size; They are obviously smaller than what the caliper bracket needs to place the pads on the sweeping surface.

They must be replaced for the correct ones

I meant the corners of the pads.
After 2500km they shouldn't be making noise. You should probably get the proper size then.

You have to look at the production month of the car. Sep 2007 is the dividing point, with the newer ones getting the 312 mm rotors. The older ones got the 300 mm rotors.

Check with FCP, and see if they can arrange to have the correct size shipped out, with you paying any difference in cost.

Therefore, yes, size does matter!
