BMW 330i E90 (N53 Error Codes)

Hi Guys!

I've been working on my 330i and have just upgraded the airfilter and intake boot, alongside adding an M3 Style bumper (decoded the washer jets) then just changed some of the comfort access settings (lights and wing mirrors folding).

It's got full service history with BMW and was recently serviced in May, however, since purchasing an OBD reader and Bimmercode/Bimmerlink I've now got the following error codes:

Safety and information module:
A6CF (AUC SENSOR)
93D0 (Supply voltage - under voltage)

Motor electronics:
30E9 (nitric oxide catalyst, aging)??
2
E85 (0x2E85 electric coolant pump, communication)
2F11 (0x2F11 radiator shutter, top)
2F9E (0x2F9E Thermal oil level sensor)

Comfort access:
A08C (TAGE_FAT_Antennen_defekt)
A069 (Innenraumantennen_hinten_defekt)

Dynamic stability control (MK60 E5):
5DBD (Pressure sensor rear left hydraulic leakage rear axle)
5DA7 (Hydraulic leakage front axle or rear axle)
5D9D (Front left pressure sensor hydraulic leakage front axle)
5DF4 (Vehicle electrical system voltage <9 volts)

Instrument panel
A559 (KL30g_f shutdown)

If anyone would be able to help me understand these and whether I need to get anything looked at that would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
Roux

I've now cleared the above codes but the following have stayed on:

Safety and information module:
A6CF (AUC SENSOR)
Error symptom- signal or value implausible
Error status - Error not present currently but stored
Error severity - Error would not cause a warning indicator

Motor electronics:

30E9 (nitric oxide catalyst, aging)
Error symptom- signal or value above threshold
Error status - Error present and stored
Error severity - Error would not cause a warning indicator

I've also had a new one appear:

A177 (external fan is not working
Error symptom-
Error status - Error not present currently but stored
Error severity - Error would not cause a warning indicator

If anyone could help with what I could do to sort these that would be amazing.
Thank you again

Hi, google is your friend in in a lot of these... plenty of older posts on this forum regarding these.

AUC sensor literally just senses for pollutants in the air for your air con system and when your airflow is in auto mode, it will close off the flaps to the outside air so it doesn't get inside. Seems people have fixed this by just getting a new sensor. But this should be low on your priorities.

Regarding the catalyst. It's either the NOx sensor being dodgy and giving wrong readings or the cat is actually not doing it's job. or someone gutted it maybe?

A177 - see link: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1476818

best of luck and keep an eye for the others if they reappear but chances are they were old stored codes

The NOX cat aging code is a bit of a pain. Can't get rid of it without replacing the nox cats or fitting something like a NOXEM. I've got the same code.

I would also be changing your electric water pump- the water pump coms code is a sign that the pump is about to fail.

Rest looks okay. The brake pressure stuff is from when someone has bled the brakes using the old fashioned method (ie pushing on the pedal and cracking the bleeding nipple). The ABS module detects the loss of pressure but they've cleared now so no issue there.
