BMW 2011 323i - can anyone help diagnose this?

Hi guys - hoping someone can help identify the issue. I am getting a couple of warning lamps.

On the top panel:
- triangle with an exclamation point and an arrow going clockwise. Shows up on the bottom/middle screen as well
- a yellow version of the handbrake lamp. Circle with an exclamation and brackets on the left and right. Shows up on bottom screen as well.

On the bottom panel:
- car on a lift symbol/service due lamp?
- and two of the same ones from above

It usually comes when I start the car in the morning. Car takes a few seconds to turn on sometimes. Then after 10mins or so the warning lamps all go away.

A couple of times the car has turned off while idling on the driveway or on a red light.

Any ideas on what it could be? From what I can tell from the manual it says "electronic systems failure" and "suspension system failure"?

If the triangle and exclamation mark is what i think it is, then the arrow is counterclockwise. It relates to the Stability control system. It comes on when you do a long push of the DTC button (to tell you it's off), or one of the sensors it needs to maintain stability of the car is faulty.

Assuming that, it could be one of the wheel speed sensors or the steering angle sensor.

I've had it pop up after servicing certain things, but it disappears very quickly once driving, within 100-200m.

Check the codes in the modules. They'll tell you what they've been seeing.

I have a similar issue with my car, exact same lights on the dash. For me the lights are on due to abs ring on the rear driver axel not staying in place due to rest under it. Can’t even get a replacement ring bc it’s machine pressed on, only solution my mechanic comes up with is replacing the entire rear axle. The axel can only be bought used also so not luck so far lol

What year is yours?
I believe 2011 E90s have the speed ring built into the wheel bearing in the rear.
xDrive LCI models have the ABS rings only on the front axles.
OP has 323i, so RWD. Not sure if those have a ring on the axle.

BTW, I have two good rear axles with spindles from my 2009 328xi if they fit anyone.

OP, yes, it would be best to scan for codes and then you'll know where the issue is and you won't be guessing.

Rockauto lists axles for a 328, but not a 323. Guess they're different, and not available.
