What MP3 Frequency does the BMW idrive accept?
Car is a 2007 BMW 335i with idrive. Hello I burn music mp3 and play it though the bmw idrive. I use this one website called youtube to mp3 and lately I would download and burn it and play it through iTunes and then play it in my car it skips songs and doesn't play it like it used too and now it doesn't have the correct sound or db for it to play it. I tried using different mp3 websites and did the basic mp3 and it doesn't work do you guys have any recommendations and don't say just use bluetooth or aux to me I don't want to use my iPhone and it also makes the sound quality bad I like using the idrive interface for my music. Please and thank you very much.

Online Apple Music Player has and option to convert your tunes to MP3
and you can select the bit rate. The messy part is you end up with a copy of a file in each format in your Apple Music Library . Also you must have purchased the files in the High Bit Rate Format in the first place . Those files have always worked for me does not matter if I play them from the phone or from a CD or usb stick. (anything that comes through the Aux has it's fidelity chopped. ) Bluetooth can be OK if the device doesn't use the Aux. But not quite as good as from a Hard Source like the USB or CD with high bit rate files. Last edited by ctuna; 01-09-2022 at 02:10 PM.. |
