Blackvue battery drain
I’m thinking of getting a simple 590 2 channel with the power magic pro for parking mode. Having driven like 7k miles since the pandemic started, I often don’t drive her at all for days at a time and it’s mainly to do some regular shopping, should I be worried about the battery drain? Last thing I want to do is shorten the battery life or come out to a dead car. I also run an aftermarket amp and subs/amp system if that matters.

You need to get a ctek battery tender and put it on once or twice a month
overnight . You would need to do this even if you didn't have any aftermarket equipment. Never heard of that equipment but aftermarket equipment should not bother the car if it's properly installed. (and not over 2000 watts) You don't want to leave stuff plugged into the OBD connector cause it has a direct to battery connection. |
