Hey anyone here runs spacers on their stock rear wheels? 10mm spacers?

Reading old posts people say 10mm are good with no rubbing but I get occasional rubbing, especially if we're 4 in the car. Trying to understand if I have a ride height issue or this is expected.

I have 15mm but also rear seats deleted, so nobody sits in the back either hehe

Anybody change out their motor mounts to Turner 60a or equivalent and find it worthwhile over ours?

Thumbs up FS: 2011 335is - Space Grey - 72K miles - DCT

Hello All,

I am going to be selling my 2011 335is. I will be posting more pictures and a video in January once the holiday crunch is over. All I have to say is this one is very nicely dialed in. I am in my 50s, love BMWs, Alfas and Porsches. This 335is was more or less a Covid project for me. I bought it in February of 2020 with 62K miles and since then I have done a lot of upgrades. It has 73K miles on it today.

Price:$20,000

Apple Car Play - $500
Backup Camera -$200
Upgraded Instrument Cluster - $300
Dinan Suspension - $1400
ZCP M3 Wheels - $2100
Walnut Blasting intake - $400
DCT Filters and Fluids Changed
MHD Stage 1-$400
Cobb Charge Pipe
Dual Cone Intake Filters
New Steering Rack
New pads and rotors
New battery
28% johnson ceramic tint
New ECS Exhaust tips
Other upgrades..

I have all the maintenance records from the second owner and they had an extended warranty. Oil was changed as expected. New water pump, injectors, oil filter housing gasket, and other maintenance items. I am probably missing somethings. It drives great and I can help with a PPI.

Things that are not working:
Comfort Access - Doors won't lock or unlock when you touch the ribs on door handle.
Passenger door mirror housing is cracked
313 Tires are runflats and should be replaced (I hate them with a passion)

I have both the 19 inch 313 stock wheels which will go with the 335is (they are in perfect condition, no curbing) or if you like the ZCP 19inch we can work on a reasonable price, the tires are new Conti DSW06. The ZCPs have some curb rash on them.

I think $20,000 is a good price for this 335is, the color, the upgrades, the maintenance is worth it.

Initial pictures, interior is black with hex trim, DCT.

Thanks. It sounds nice. My wife and I are not sure we want to go all the way up to Washington to check it out, especially in the winter. (I've been in Seattle in winter before.) We'll think about it and let you know if we decide to come up there.

Looks great, love the wheels. I should look to get a set for my Space Grey 335is! What color interior?

What Apple Car Play and backup camera kits did you install? And would you recommend them?

I'm LSD shopping boys, any personal recommendations? I am leaning towards a Quaife from VAC Motorsports.

My car's never seen a track but I plan to change that this season.

Time to sell and wondering what you guys think its worth. I have a baby now and its the right time with high used car prices. Car has never been modded or chipped. Never driven poorly.

2011 DCT Black with brown interior. No Idrive. (Florida car kept in garage)
35k miles. I bought the car in 2014 with 26k miles and put on less than 10k miles in 7 years lol. I rarely drove the thing other than weekends up and down some roads. The interior and exterior are in good condition. I'm not even sure anyone ever sat in the back seats honestly. FRont seats very minor wear and im not a big dude so there really arent any dents in the seats other than normal light wear. Engine has no check lights and runs great. Wheels and tires are the 19" 313's with MPSS on them.

The bad. 2 minor minor low speed accidents. Both at stops where someone rolled into me like idiots. Had all the work done at BMW collision center. Back bumper and driver door ding. All fixed obviously.

What's it worth in this insane used car market? Seeing some really high prices on ebay for same model with stupid high miles. Figured I'd list there to get top dollar. Thanks

My two cents as someone that moderates a 335is sale page on FB. The absolute high end on this is about $25k with your mileage and two Carfax dings, regardless of the actual damage. The crap you see on Ebay is just that. Those are all dealership cars that are $5-$10k overpriced. No one in their right mind is walking in and paying that. The loan value is nowhere near that high and there's not too many people with $25k-$30k cash to just drop on it so it ends up being a dealership financed deal with a ridiculous interest rate.

If yours was a really desirable combo like a white with coral interior manual I'd go $27k-$29k. I routinely see these sit for months because the seller is convinced that it's some ultra rare unicorn and sets a unrealistic price that turns off buyers before they even inquire. It comes down to what you want out of it and what someone is willing to pay, that's what dictates it's "worth". If you don't mind sitting on it and dealing with tire kickers, start high. If you're interested in a quicker sale and a minimum of hassle, start with a more modest price.

I usually start off by looking at the kelly blue book value of used private sale and go off that. You'll know if what you had in mind is outrageously to much for the actual value of the car in the market IMO.

That said if it helps, I bought my white one this year at around 90k miles and it was 13k$ converted into USD so I'd agree with LMB335IS about 25k would be about that for your mileage.

And shit sorry to hear that you've driven your car so little yet you've been hit twice by idiots that sucks.

Yeah I mean its a 10 year old car in a market where dealers have no inventory, but at the same times its still a 10 year old car lol. I agree. I'm not unrealistic about it. I had a price in mind and figured around 25k actually. Not sure if its worth an ebay listing or auto trader or what. I'm not having people come to my house that's for damn sure. I dont have time or want that hassle.

Thanks for the comments

Be careful with Ebay. I sell the occasional cluster on there and the fees are insane although the fee structure may be different for vehicles. Otherwise best of luck.

Lol, that car is a dumpster fire. Two accidents (front and rear, Carfax report said "car on fire"), and 5 owners. Not to mention the hack job mods.

Have you looked into the Mfactory setup? From my understanding we have the welded on our 6mt and have to buy the $2k option from either Mfactory or Wavetrac

Question: Who here would change their front bumper duct fang things to gloss black?

Well I'm not doing that lol I'm getting older.

But I am going to swap out my matte m3 mirrors for proper gloss ones, or paint them, soon. And with blacked out headlights at some point those are like the last matte pieces on the car, and the rear bumper I guess. Maybe just get new and leave em alone
