It's ready and will be put into the release version after the multi-license feature is out!

Any idea if farts/burps between shifts could be implemented in the future for the 6ATs?

Not sure if its a dual clutch thing only?

The same like for a "normal" 320d. The trans does not care about that little extra power.

Consult your ECU tuner. "Farts" are generated by the ECU when it blends out individual cylinders during the shift. There are 2 methods to reduce torque durings shifts: Back down ignition overall (which is used for 6AT cars) or leave base timing as it is, but cut out one or more cylinders. (used on DCT cars) That is what generates that typical sound.

Which method is used, is determined in the ECU, not in the transmission. Honestly, no one has tried yet how the cut out method works with 6AT, nor do I think any of the ECU tuners knows how to switch that in the controller. Would need some investigation MHD Tuning

Any plans to add custom shift points (not WOT) to the maps.
Maybe I'm using the wrong term.
I want cruising RPM higher.

Cool.
I know for optimum fuel economy a higher gear is better.
For optimum performance a lower gear at about 2800 cruising is better.
You get better acceleration without needing to downshift.

I can't wait.

I have a 2013 X5 50i Msport, I connected the software to the car and it said that the car is not compatible, yet the car is listed on the compatibility page on the XHP website. Any ideas?

This one was available with 6 and 8-Speed Auto. (i think 2010 was the switch to 8-speed) xHP is only for the 6-Speed versions.

Ug, okay thanks! Would be more clear if the year was listed too for the compatible cars page.

xHP now supports Multi - Licenses! (App-Version: V2.0.3)

Users can now manage up to 3 cars on one device!

This is a feature requested by many, many people, since release and we did our best to keep everything the same inside the app and making it easy to switch between cars. Basically the app does everything for you, once you connect a new car. Connect new car, save it, buy license/maps, done.

All saved vehicles are shown in a new tab, accessible through the bottom bar -> the Car Chooser/Vehicles Tab.

So even if you are away from a certain car, you just select it in the Vehicle-Tab and can access all information regarding available licenses, already bought licenses, last files flashed, the current state the car is in etc. just like before.

FAQ:

Q: Do I need to buy a License for each car?
A: Yes, all items are always separate for each vehicle. For example, if you buy a Super License for Vehicle 1, it is only valid for Vehicle 1. You can't re-use it for Vehicle 2.

Q: I have two 335i, all the same. Do I need to buy 2 Licenses?
A: Yes. The Licenses are per VIN.

Q: I already bought a Stage 3 file, why can't i re-use it for my other car?
A: There are so many TCU versions out, that it is unlikely it would be even technically possible. Also every file is matched to the VIN of the car. It won't work anywhere else.

Q: How do I know for which car I am buying stuff in the xHP Store?
A: The app always maps the items to the currently active car. Check the Car Chooser in the bottom bar, or bring up the Car-Info screen to see the active one. Also xHP will show you the car's data (Type, Model, VIN) right before purchase.

Q: I am a professional and need to flash more than 3 vehicles. How do I?
A: We have a dedicated app for professionals, called xHP Pro. Please write an e-mail to office@rbttuning.com for inquiries.

Further information is available in the xHP Manual, accessible on www.xhpflashtool.com

Talking Stage 2 vs Stage 3

Currently flashed stage 3 v2.0 on stock 135i.

As much as I'm enjoying it, I find M mode shifting a bit too aggressive for my needs.

I'll likely purchase Stage 2 and give it a try. Curious if anyone else has opted to switch to Stage 2 from stage 3, switch from 2.0 to a different variant, or if it's best to just go custom map (?)

Ideally I'd like to reduce the amount the throttle blips on downshift for M Mode only, and leave everything else alone.

Cheers!

PS: Car was an absolute blast in hills today.

App Version V2.1.3 is out!

The latest update brings 3 major innovations to xHP:
  1. Adjust Throttle Blips: The Custom Module now is able to adjust the throttle blips in manual mode. Users can alter the intensity of the blips from -50% to +50%, compared to the stored values of the OTS Maps. This feature works for all Stage 3 Maps and for all N54/N55 cars. (regardless of Stage) On other vehicles/maps the adjustments may not have any effect.
  2. Standard - Backups for all cars: xHP now provides a standard backup for every supported car. User can chose to create their own Backup, or download a Backup from our servers within seconds. The provided Backups are the latest stock files.
  3. Auto-Restore of all Data: No more headache when losing your own backups or switching phones. xHP will download everything from our servers on first connect. Identification works through the Account-Name, which is chosen on first startup.

Love the update, my only remaining thing I didn't love about Stage 3 was my 2->1 blip was a bit too intense, set it to -25 and now it doesn't lurch and is much better on my car.

Was hoping to change some shiftpoints, but seems that is not what I thought it was, is full throttle shift RPM.

Any chance you will allow changing shift points in the future so we can change the road speed an up shift occurs - due to the speed of the roads I normally drive on a lot, would love to change the 3-4 and 4-5 shift point by a few MPH.

Keep up the great work!
