Quick question. In a previous forum I believe you created some DVDs for another member to update his car with (cant find it right now).
I've managed to update mine via USB but my friends doesn't have the "tick and i" symbol on his navigation screen.
I was going to try make 3 DVDs for him. Just wondered how you did it? I was going to buy 3 dual layer DVDs and then burn USB1,2,3 folders onto a disc each, would that be correct?

Anyone would think its the family jewels being handed out .. or i know a secret and you don't attitude.

I didn't keep a copy of the torrent file but sounds like others have it who could upload it somewhere

Yes do that for first set then put these back in usb1 folder/delete them, then copy out the usb2 versions to top level of stick and keep going until all 3 sets are done

I can't get 2 different USB sticks to work, including one that I managed to suck the FSC code out with...

Bought some DVDs off ebay and couldn't get them to burn either.

I'm on 2009 maps or something

Did the USB method not even start or fail midway? If not start more likely how you set the files than the stick

Do you have a tick on i in nav screen? If not USB update will likely fail so would need DVDs or ista/p to update

No didn't even start, in fact on both sticks the files were deleted from the USB sticks!!

Does have a tick in the 'i' so a lot of people say that means USB update should work.
