Professional Sound System

Hi Guys,

I will be taking delivery of my e92 335 (TiAg, Black Leather, Fully Loaded except for Comfort Access and Active Steering) in 10 days time. The wait is killing me.

Thought I would prepare for it by getting all my mp3s sorted.

Can someone tell me if the proffessional sound system plays DVDs or CDs? And Can I play DVDs on the iDrive Screen?

It will play MP3 as well as audio DVD, but will not play DVD(movies) on the nav screen.

Yes it will play DVD's with MP3 files.
But to use a DVD with MP3 files you need to use the DVD drive that is also used for the MAP DVD, which means you cannot play audio from a DVD with MP3 files AND use navigation at the same time.

Ohh and note that Audio DVD is something else, and I am pretty sure it will not play them.

I think I read in another thread it does.

I tried playing Audio DVD's on my E90 but they are not recognized by the drive.
