Thinking about trading in the BMW

I'm thinking about trading in my 328xi for a 2011 Jeep Compass. Need to be able to tow and have more cargo room. Should I do it???

Once my wife and I found out we were going to be having a child, I traded mine in and bought a Patriot. It's unrefined, squeaks, but feels solid - stereo is surprisingly good. This winter St. Louis had crazy ice storms and it performed flawlessly. I honestly love the thing (its nice not stressing about door dings, spilled juice/milk and snacks, or washing the thing). Not a fan of the Compass appearance wise to be honest. But they share the same platform as the Patriot so I imagine they perform nearly identical. Bonus was my car payment went from $389 to $250 and I bought it brand new vs. 26K miles on bimmer when I purchased it.

On nice days I miss the BMW sooo much though, once the little man is older I'll be getting into either an e90 M3, F30 M3, or F10 550/535i... I have a couple years to ponder that decision..

x2 on the piece of crap. Far better alternative out there. Take a look at a Subaru Forester, Ford Edge, New Explorer, New Grand Cherokee.

Compass is the worst Jeep according to everyone and Jeep is already very close to being the least quality brand in the US market.
