Front brake pad is not even

I have replaced the front rotors and pads. Cleaned the guide pins and lubricated the calliper carrier's pad contacts edge. Calliper fitted perfectly and the guide pins' rubbers are clean. Still having issues with the outside pads not making the full contact with the rotor. The inside pad is perfectly aligned and make a full contact with the rotor only the outside pad is not aligned. Any ideas? Anti-rattle clip issue?
P.>s forgot to mention this is my wife's car 323i LCI

Did you install the spring on the outside bottom of caliper?

You mean the Anti-rattle clip? Yes. I may need to replace it since it's not putting enough force on the calliper

It's not just an anti-rattle clip. It holds the caliper in the correct position prior to application of the brake.

Not saying it's necessarily the problem. Or that you even have a problem. But that's a good place to start.

Can't tell in pic how far is it from the rotors edge? I've noticed this when changing pad brands where they maybe 1mm or so difference is size.
