Wipers Acting Funny, Need Help!
My wipers all of a sudden go crazy and then will die in the middle of wherever they choose. Even when i simply push down once to only trigger the wipers once my wipers will go full speed (resting full speed) and then after 10-20 seconds ish they will die in place wherever they happen to be on the windshield, i am able to press it once more to trigger the same motion but after that i have zero control after that. Ive made a few attempts to ask for help in various places but have had no luck, if anyone has any ideas please let me know

I did when it first started happening, i didn’t fully test it but my wipers went back to normal for like a day after i pulled it out, but now its pretty much happening everytime i get in the car. u can hear the relay click each time i engage the wipers.

It could ultimately be something as simple as a relay, but given that it's highly likely that you have rain-sensing wipers, you really should check for codes before you start digging too far into this. It could be the rain sensing sensor and/or the module that interprets that data. Have you had your windshield replaced any time recently? (that can cause problems with the sensor)
Anyhow, it's really just guessing until you are able to check to see if there are any codes being reported by the sensors and/or modules that deal with the wiper controls. |

Had this issue last year.
Did all the checks, well maybe not all, but relay, checked for moisture around the fuse box. All good. I went to pull-a-part, grabbed the wiper motor assembly off a wrecked car and installed it. 1 year later, zero issues. Cost $20. Hope this helps. |
