Looking for N53 performance help

I have an n53 325i e93. I have installed the 3 stage manifold on this and had it remapped by evolve to hopefully gain 270 ish bhp at the flywheel. Had this on the Dyno recently and it seems whatever evolve have done equates to nothing as I have produced stock power. Nothing is wrong with the car and it runs fine and they seem at a loss as well as to why.

I want to still pursue getting the power out of the car if possible and have spoken to bimmerprofs to try and obtain some kind of direction - attached is the response. Does anyone know anyone around the Surrey area or potentially further that knows how to basically flash a 330 map onto my car? Tuners don't seem to be the right direction anymore. Any help is appreciated.

Have you contacted Evolve about this? If it's their map, they should be able to help.

If you're chasing more performance then a 335i is probably the way to go, you might find extracting more power from an N53 a bit fruitless.

Contact evolve and get them to give you a refund.

Every tuner in the country thinks they can tune the N53 but none of them actually can. They just flash a generic map thats got an aggressive throttle map so you drive away thinking 'yeah this has made a massive difference'

I'd have a read of tims post above - he's successfully flashed a 330i map onto a 325i with great results.

There's great gains to be had from the 25i and given they are half of the cost of an equivalent spec 35i a great option. Very under rated cars + engine combo in my opinion which get a lot of bad press for no real reason.

Hi all, sorry didn't realise I'd left this post up!

Had the evolve map removed as they couldn't understand why it didn't so anything. Felt no difference afterwards no loss at all.

Got it mapped at map tech, with a before and after Dyno, dynoed stock at 200hp and now running 263 with the map taking full advantage of the 3 stage manifold! Gareth knows what he's doing.

In regards to buying a 335i, this car is very low mileage especially when I got it so I couldn't pass it up, and since then I've done so much to it mod wise I wouldn't want to reset all of that! Plus with effectively 330 power and also a gearbox map it's plenty fast for me now without the massive fuel bills haha
