So I am still getting timing corrections even running E30. In this log I also misfired post shift. I see rail pressure dropped post shift and I remember reading this was a problem with DCT cars. I have only had this happen the one time. Still working on getting fueling dialed in for E30.

Your timing corrections seem fine, as long as they are random I wouldn't worry about it much. You are way too rich post shift which is also when your rail pressure drops. I am not sure if the fix is just a tweak in the afr tables or something else. Can you post up your afr table?

Another log with a post shift rich mixture. This one did not misfire but rail pressure stayed above 1500.

If you look at this point in the log where it started to misfire and rail pressure dropped it is also the only time I have seen load over 180 and tq over 600. Think there is a correlation? Could I have hit a limiter in the DCT?

I am honestly not qualified to say if that is the cause. I believe the torque number is meaningless. I can tell you the lowest target in my AFR table is 12.5 or 12.6. I am not saying that is the correct AFR to run, but that is where my car runs best.

How much E are you running though? I'm only running E30. So your AFR post shift isn't richer than target like mine is? I figured that was a result of the DME cutting ignition for the DCT to shift.

I am running E30. PS2.

Here are all my logs. I would look at something that doesn't have METH in the title, as the AFR acts a little different with Meth spraying. Something like V11.

New log 3rd, 4th, 5th.

https://datazap.me/u/sbrach/log-1509...30-31-32-33-34

Obviously I need a freaking intercooler and to figure out why its so rich WOT around 5k-6k. Fuel table doesn't reflect that at all.

Big corrections on Cyl 5 which is where I normally see corrections. Coils are brand new delphis and plugs are NGK 95770s gapped to .022. Really seems like it pulls timing to limit load, not because of knock, at least until IATs get high and it starts pulling timing on all cylinders.

Guys, do we have an updated XDF hosted anywhere with the corrections?

I spent several hours going through the one I have to clean it up, fix tables, translate, add notes, etc

Id be happy to share/exchange (although yours may have more corrections)

I know they are working hard on flex fuel and some other things so perhaps once all the new features are released we will have an updated XDF? I would appreciate if you share any updates you have found. I am still using the released xdf.

Thanks

Let me know if that works. The image shows up for me using the chrome plug-in you provided.

Works for me in chrome desktop with extension but not on chrome iOS. Pretty much every forum is broken because of photobucket's decision. I've been using Imgur.

Yes the plugin is working for me as well. Thank you for checking though.

I need to create a section for MEVD1726 DIY tuning. Just came here to learn the basics/gain some insight into possible differences between the two. I see that 1726 does not have an option for command WGDC.

How useful do you find commanded WGDC? I have dug around the code a lot but not tuned them much. It could be found or something similar perhaps added. The pressure target is still developed in the same way, but the lookup is not "required compressor power vs pressure ratio" and it looks like you lose I and D feedback too.

I'm not using commanded on F series. But for E series 98G0B and 9E60B it works well if you scale it correctly, set your wg ramp as boost setpoint commanded increases as well as increase wgdc over RPM... it takes a lot less effort to dial the car in. I have spent hundreds of development on this so to me it's a much easier process and very consistent. Once you have a nice smooth boost curve you can increase or decrease boost with ease.

I do not see a toggle for commanded on the 9E60B XDF like I do on 98G0B. Am I missing something?

You don't have Commanded WGDC switch (zero is off)?

I might have added this myself. I'll send it to Martial and ask him to update if it's not already there.

No. I do not see any commanded stuff on the 9E60B XDF like on 98G0B.

Thank you. I wanted to follow along with DIY progress here, but it's hard to do when the 9E60B isn't as updated as 98G0B.
