In what order?
Bought my wife an TiAg e90 a couple of months ago... been steadily modding since day 1: 335 Finisher Rods, 330 chrome tips, Blacklines, Walnut gear selector and ebrake, iPod adapter, oem alarm, cell phone docking cradle, sunglass holder, rear fogs, and tint (35 front, 20 rear, 15 back, 20 sunroof.) Planning on the sliding armrest, happy robot, pedal kit/dead pedal, strut bar, and chrome window trim next.
My real questions is this: Rims first or aero first? Want Front aero lip, MTech sides, oem rear spoiler, maybe a roof spoiler but not sure if it'll look odd with OEM wheels... Also planning Lux 4.0 and Gruppe M Rep/Simota intake. If it were your car what would you do? |

Blacklines and wheels first. Wheels/drop will make the biggest impact on your car's aesthetics. Plus, anything to get rid of those RFTs IMO.

There is a mod some call the "happy robot" and when you see the pictures you'll probably see why. Check the DIY section under "ultimate compilation" at the top for Calvino's "rear power outlet installation." The outlets are the eyes, the silver strip for the ashtray is the mouth and the ac vents are... something!

have you asked your wife about having a louder engine sound? the Gruppe M is pretty loud in comparison to the OEM, I would ask her first before putting it in, she may find the sound annoying

A very sensible Canadian thing to say... Can say that because I am Canadian by marriage! She was born in Montreal but lived in Toronto and Victoria growing up. Going to Richmond Hill, Toronto at the end of next month and then north to the Muskokas for some R&R... "...you know Canadian beer is like moonshine!"
The intake is something I would definitely install... if it were my vehicle. I had an HKS on my Civic SI... have a K&N Gen II on my F-150. If the sound is as loud as you say then that's $500.00 USD to spend on something else.... |
