Help diagnosing a sound. (2008 335xi coupe 6mt)
Hello, I am new to BMWs(n54), but I am not new to cars. The car does have a stage 3 clutch with a Mfactory flywheel. It had a lot of chatter so I raised the idle to 900rpm. This pretty much got rid of the chatter noise I was hearing, but allowed me to become aware of a new sound. I really only hear this noise in neutral and never hear it when driving.
At first I assumed the worst and thought it was rod knock. Although the more videos I listen to the more I realize how drastically different this sounds than those videos. If anyone could give me any ideas I would really appreciate it. |

Are you pushing the clutch pedal down in this video?
