BMW E9X Peformance Brake Kit

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I have the very first BMW Performance Brake Kit for the E9X in stock, be the very first to have the full and complete front and rear set in the United States.

This kit should fit the following:
  • E90 - 330i, 325d
  • E91 - 318d, 318i, 320d, 320i, 323i, 325d, 325i, 328i
  • E92 - 325d
  • E93 - 320d, 320i, 323i, 325d, 325i, 328i

Personally, I believe that the kit will fit each and every E90, E91, E92 and E93 based on my research but I can't guarantee yet as I haven't personally tried it.

Kit includes the following:
  • Two (2) 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers for the front axle in BMW Performance Yellow with the words "BMW Performance" in ferric grey,

  • One (1) set of front brake pads,
  • Two (2) 2-piston aluminum fixed-calipers for the rear axle in BMW Performance Yellow with the words "BMW" in ferric grey,
  • Two (2) internally ventilated rear rotors,
  • One (1) set of rear brake pads,
  • One (1) rear pad sensor,
  • and all the necessary clips and mounting hardware.

For a product they can't supply? Also, once they are able to supply it, I wouldn't be surprised by a price increase since the list price has gone up considerably. Looking a bit closer, if you input the part number 34 11 0 444 769 you'll see they have updated the price to $2,383 here:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214672

So my price is actually less, and I actually have the kit in my possesion and can supply it someone today.

Rich

Why is your part number different and more expensive than this:

Im sorry, but Im going to support a great vendor here on our site. The price is a little less than what you are asking for the kit.

Boy, haven't we already covered this in this thread just a couple of posts back? Thanks for trying to trample on my sale for a second time.

First off, Tischer doesn't have the kit, so it really wouldn't matter if they advertised it for $100 if you can't buy it. Also, if and when they do ever get it, there price is actually $2,383 as you can see if you look up 34 11 0 444 769 at this link:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...72&catalogid=0

So my original price is actually less, and I actually have the kit in my possession and can supply it someone today. If that isn't enough though, I have lowered the price to $2,190, now there is no better time than to buy this kit.

Lastly, if you would be so kind, I would appreciate if you would review the rules for this forum here:

Rich

That is correct. If your dealer has the kit then that is VERY surprising because even Tischer doesn't have it, its backordered and has been for Months. Correct, this does NOT fit the 335

Really? Which dealership? Cain in Canton? Dave Walter in Akron? The kit I am selling is not in inventory at any dealership in North America (let alone those two) and it also isn't in the inventory of any BMW warehouse in North America. BMW Germany has some though and that is where this one came from.

What price did they quote you?

I never said that. What I said was "Personally, I believe that the kit will fit each and every E90, E91, E92 and E93 based on my research but I can't guarantee yet as I haven't personally tried it." I have figured out that it will fit certain cars that they don't list it fitting.

I believe it will fit the 335i but that is not what BMW intended and the size of the rotors is actually smaller than what is originally equipped on the 335i.

Come on over, you are only ~30 miles from me, we can fit it on your car.

Regards,

Rich

PS - I grew up only a few miles from Orrville

^^^^I believe the rear rotor will not fit the 335 parking brake, just like none of the 325/330 bbk will.

Bump for a great price though, Upgraded brakes are a mod you can enjoy each and everytime you drive.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of this issue and I appreciate the clarification, I should look into it to see what would be needed to make it work on a 335i. For instance, I have the calipers from a 135i along with BMW Performance rotors front and rear on my 330i.

Thanks for the bump, I appreciate it. I really like the package I have on my car and I enjoyed making something work properly that I haven't seen anyone else do yet.

That sounds like an interesting combo (135 calipers with performance rotors). Any pics of the setup?

Yes, I have pics, but the calipers are identical to the ones in this post, the only difference is that they are grey in color, rather than Performance Yellow.

No, the BMW Performance rotor is 324 x 22, the 330i is 336 x 22.

The difference is negligible for performance reasons but the you do have to use the BMW Performance rotor with their BMW Performance caliper (i.e., you can't use the OE 330i rotor with the BMW Performance caliper).

I believe they will but I haven't done it personally, I have personally fitted them on a 328xi without any issues.

I can't personally confirm it currently as I haven't done it myself. I could borrow a 335i and check. I thought Deuce92 would take me up on my offer but apparently not.

One person made the comment that "I believe the rear rotor will not fit the 335 parking brake" but I don't know that to be true for certain as the 335 shares the same parking brake assembly as many other E9Xs including the 330i, 325xi, 328xi and others and I have this kit on my 330i.

i know 330i rear rotor size r the same as 335 rear.but don't know the parking brake r the same or not.also,i asked u for the rear rotor size is because i got a set of 335i brakes.front r fit perfect, but the rear can't fit coz, the parking brake r different.so i asked for bmw performance's rear rotor size.if the rotor size r same or very close then i can use the 335i's caliper.and do u know any route i can go without buy a set of 335i parking brake?they r expensive,$400 for each side from tisher.and can't find the used parts at local auto werk shop.
