I am owner of e92, 325d MY2007. My car has basic CCC navi, doesnt have usb, bluetooth nor it is pre wired for telephone (which basically means it doesnt have most fiber optics cable from head unit to the trunk). I have decided to upgrade it a bit and arranged an installation of professional cic unit on saturday (as it will serve as a fine base for further improvements - including audio system upgrade). Now I am wondering about one thing. As far as I understand CIC itself doesnt have basic bluetooth capatibility; as I would still need telematics module in the trunk to get basic (hands free calls) bt capatibilties. My question is, is there an option to get basic bt capatibility without the need to buy and install another module in the back and getting most fibre harness to connect it?

while this may be some offtopic but i can ship full kit based on MULF2 HIGH with usb audio and bluetooth handsfree functionality

Thanks for replies, got my CIC professional unit installed today and it is amazing (I am still weirded out by the fact that it doesnt come with basic bluetooth). I talked with the guy that installed it and he said that in case of cars without wiring to the trunk, combox (officially by BMW) can be retrofitted in the front behind the glovebox; so basically the only dirtywork is to install microphone and center console USB for 6FL. Because of that I have decided to purchase a combox and install it.
