I try to keep my car clean as much as possible. Give it a wash whenever the temp is above freezing

I'm counting on the 12year/Unlimited mileage rust warranty since there's no way i'm keeping my car for 12 years.....

+1

A good paint sealer before the winter helps with the cleaning. But the issue of rust in modern cars is nearly extinct for a number of reasons.

Make sure you get a set of winter shoes.

+1.

I just barely got away with just using all-season tires last winter, this winter I am investing in a set of snow tires. I wanted to see if I was going to keep the car before buying another set of tires, this car is a keeper.

Don't worry about rust and even though salt is a necessity in the snow belt it does suck, I don't remember what the color of my car is until Spring.
