The guy I bought it from says you have to call them to order it separately. It comes with their On3 single turbo kits. For some reason the PS res came way after he ordered and installed the kit and he just never installed it.

It actually has a vaper vent filter in it, baffles, and the lid has a great seal. I'm actually impressed. Hoping the barbed fittings will give me a much better seal than the OEM plastic res.

Orders on the way.

- Guibo
- Charge pipe o-rings
- Driveshaft carrier bearing assembly
- Driveshaft locking nuts.
- Hard Motorsports rear deck planking plate for trunk.
- Hard Motorsports low oil cooler thermostat
- Vanos o-rings
- OEM Trans mounts

MFactory DCT flywheel arrives today.
DCT mechatronic gasket and o-rings seem to be delayed in shipping for soem reason.

I have assurances that my huge Turner relocation/intake/coolant res kit is getting split up and 90% of it ships today. I've been waiting for over a month now for something to ship out. They claim only the coolant reservoir is backordered now so they will try to ship the rest out.

Check your driveshaft, I tried to replace the center bearing on mine Saturday night and there was no way to separate the two shafts. I have seen video's where there is a blot next to the U-joint but mine didn't have one so I did not replace it.

I guess I'll have to figure it out when I get that thing out. I'll have it if I end up needing it.

This just arrived. My only beef is that it came with no instructions. It would be nice to know the torque specs for the flange that attaches to the FW. I guess I'll have to ask around.

Forgot to post pictures of this. I did decide to paint the oil pan this time to keep it clean. VHT. Turned out great.

Surprised what a little bit of gasoline can do. These things cleaned up like new in seconds.

NoGuru I decided to go with new stock trans bushings. It seems like everyone said the same thing about the poly bushings. More noise and vibration. Some OK and some terrible. I figure stiffer + MFactory SMFW = probably the worse chance for it just being loud and having lots of unpleasant vibrations.

That being said, if I end up using this much more for track days than a fun weekend car, these bushings and the others will eventually be replaced with more track purposed products. Were I will care much less about noise.

I got the shipping notice from ECS last night. They split up my order and the relocated coolant res kit is now on an order of its own. Says Nov 18th.....oof. I have a feeling what that means is they really have no idea when they are going to get that kit back in stock. I ordered all this back on Aug 24th.

This should be here in the next week.

They have the same date on their website. I guess I'll just have to hope that it'll get here before that becomes a stopping point in the project.

My 330i has the bolt, my 325 does not. If there is no bolt it simply slips out of it's splines once you remove the boot. The splines are much longer on the shafts without the bolt.

I reached out to the MFactory rep that is part of this forum on the flywheel to flange torque. He replied back that it is 19-21Ft lbs.

Well.....this is about 70% of what I ordered from ECS. Looks like I'm waiting until at least Nov for the expansion tank but that is towards the end of the build anyway.

I am left with a pretty serious questions though......Turner has instructions for all this stuff I hope. All of this stuff kind of goes together very specifically.

Also, right now it appears that this does not come with the bracket to hood gasket(weatherstrip). So the intake box is sealed from the engine compartment by sealing against the hood. May have to find some of that on Amazon.

I ordered a new ARM set of downpipes off FB but I'm getting the feeling, for the third time, I'm getting scammed. I think if I get skunked I'm just going to do a face to face or just be forced to pay retail. $300 for two test pipes is kind of insane.

If you go down to product details, there is a link to the instructions.

It actually is a really well put together guide.

So I had been contemplating something for a bit. For how much I am putting into this build, why wouldn't I want to enjoy this as a daily driver rather than just a weekend fun car?

Last night a buddy and me went downtown ATL for a concert. Cold was in town and that had been on the bucket list for a bit. I daily a LR4, which can go over anything, but last night Google sent us through almost all of the inner city instead of the highway.

By the time I got there, I realized I can't daily the e92. Not with what I'm going to do with it, the wheels, susp, not a chance. The roads, parking, etc would be a nightmare. Plus, it's not exactly something to take to client meetings.

Just going to have to stick with it being a weekend and track car. Shame shame....

Those are fantastic directions. I went with VRSF when I did my relocated inlets and it was a nightmare. Worst instructions I have ever seen and last VRSF product I will ever buy.

Let me ask your your opinions on what happens next.

My plan this weekend is to get the DCT fully serviced with new filters and gaskets. Then I'll bolt up the new flywheel to the engine and get ready for getting the motor and trans back in the car.

So...

Is it easier to mate the engine and transmission as one piece, outside the car, as the bell housing bolts are far easier when it's all out? My brain tells be putting it all together outside is great but the re-install back into the car is one thing I have yet to try in a rebuild before.

Putting the tranny back in is easy. Getting an engine mated back up to the bellhousing is ALWAYS a PITA when the trans in already in the car.

Thoughts?
