Had a G20 330I loaner recently. The G20 was nice, punchy 4 cylinder, smooth shifts, nice interior. However, nothing like a naturally aspirated inline 6, and hydraulic steering.

I've seen ONE e90 in the US with cloth seats. Was a Euro Delivery car and evidently for a very brief time BMW was allowing that option for special order/ED cars. Pre-LCI, but I don't recall what year exactly.

I have a friend who special ordered a literally ZERO options e46 and was able to get it with cloth seats too - also super rare here on those cars. He still has it, cool car.

Common in Europe, of course. Really baffling to me, I would much rather have cloth than leatherette or leather. Especially the cloth seats that were standard in Europe on the M235i when I got mine were AMAZING.
