Need help with upgrading from 17" to 18" tires

I have a 2012 BMW 335i e93. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to tires and wheels and such.

My car came with a factory 17 x 8.

I am looking to upgrade and move to 18’s….however, i do not want to affect steering and handling that much.

I do not race or anything, just use my car as an everyday car. I will keep the 17’s for winter use therefore I’m looking for summer tires.

Based off the reviews of this forum, it seems that Michele PS2 are the best choice.

I am looking to purchase these: https://www.beyernwheels.com/BMW_wheels_beyern_ritz.php

However, from my understanding, it would be better to get staggered rims and the only one that are available for those are 18 x 8.5 (front) and 18 x 9.5 (rear)

Will it be a huge difference in regards to handling? and what offsets would be recommended so that I can just order them and have a tire place just throw them on for me in place of my 17”?

Also, what would be the tire recommendation sizes to purchase for the 2 wheels?

I dont know about the fitment on that car but one has to watch increasing wheel width. You may he better off w 18x8 or 18x8.5 which needs to be confirmed. Try tirerack to see if they have +1 recommendations.
