EBay Oil Cooler Plug and Play Kits

Has anyone used any of the plug and play oil cooler “upgrade” kits from eBay? The one in this link looks like a rip off of the ER kit. Any real world experience with them?

I’m probably going to get the plug and play CSF N54 cooler, but stumbled across these kits on eBay and was curious.

Garage List
I haven’t used that one but I’ve basically assembled all the parts that one comes with plus the new oil filter housing. The one piece I didn’t have is the bracket...I’m gonna contact that seller and see if they will sell me one...

I cant contribute except you get what you pay for...do you have the factory oil cooler now? If so, there are ways to keep the oil temp down without any major hardware upgrades.

hey man looks the same as the REV9 BMW 3-SERIES 335I E90 E92 N54 BOLT ON 25 ROW OIL COOLER KIT UPGRAGE FITTING I bought.
That seems real low for price I would suspect that fin quality is not the greatest.
My kit works great had to take out passenger fog light to fit.
I am happy my oil temp never is an issue anymore running mhd 2+ for over a year.
I would get one small 45 an fitting that is shorter that the ones posted on line so when you install on oil filter housing you can run oil lines to passenger side without them being same length. what I bought ESPEEDER 10AN Aluminum Anodize Finish Male/Female 90 Degree Flare Bulkhead Fitting Adapter AN-10 Black

I have the low oil cooler temp thermostat ~$40 (opens at 220 degrees) and use the mhd sport cooling strategy with stock oil cooler and oil temps stay between 210 and 220 even under hard driving. Im running stock turbos fbo with a stage 3 tune.
The only time it exceeds 220 is when traffic becomes a parking lot even then it doesnt go past 223-225. I dont think any oil cooler will help too much in grid lock. So mhd and thermostat, $40 and 15 minutes work

Also recommend frequent oil changes, these engines are hard on oil, over time and miles, i see where the oil temps tend to stick around 215-220...just loses a bit of its anti-friction properties.
