A/C issues after Harmonic Balancer Replacement
Got car back from a harmonic balance replacement yesterday. The shop said all belts and pulleys looked good besides HB. BUT when driving home with A/C on I heard squealing from belts every minute or so (nothing with A/C off).
Today I was testing to see if issue was still there. After a little squealing for first few minutes of driving, the noise completely went away, BUT now no cold air from A/C, just warm air. Is it the belt or A/C compressor? When I picked up car from shop the A/C was on, but noise was faint until I was a few miles away. Should the shop have checked/noticed the issue? (Baltimore Bimmer/'reputable' shop) Thanks in advance! |
