^ Fucking hell please no. I hate that ass clown.

I like Top Gear. I like the format. And I'd give Amy Macdonald at least 15 given the chance. So last night was a win from me.

But yes if he'd have used the chunnel he'd have won easilly. But I like the races.

Stop being such a miserable old c*nt Si !!!!!

But I'd help you murder Hammond. For sure.

I'm now running a week late, mainly because of DoI.

I very much like DoI,it gives me the opportunity to doze off without risk of interruption.

After a couple of minutes of slagging off the Orish bint, for on the most part her questionable dress sense,it always looks like that she's gone on a clothes hanger dash through Quality Seconds, and then popped next door to Matalan (shite like this matters!),anyway after the bitch fest,I tend to enter a coma like state for quite some considerable time.
I always blame the medication anyway.

Si,I had you down as a much younger Guy,William Woollard shirley comes from an age of valves, and the test card.

I enjoyed the road trip last week immensely, yes, you get the twattish schoolboy jokes,May's hair is looking more and more like a shrub at the bottom of the garden, whilst Clarkson's eyebrows are having a life of there own,and are clearly looking to take over his face.

Hammond wears eyeliner and mascara,so no need to dwell on it.

The trouble with Top Gear is it's such a popular show abroad,so the BBC need their pound of flesh in pound notes, thus the content is made to appeal to a much wider audience.
This is in itself the problem, the 'real' audience,us Guys, are no longer being catered for, shame.

Reading back my post,it's worryingly gay,and very feminine,my relationship with Mr One eyed Jack needs some serious work!

I will be better by the time of the meet Si,so don't worry needlessly

So the BBC don't agree with you (otherwise they would make one)

Theres 5th Gear but (and I must admit to not having watched it for some time) feedback here suggests it's not great (and VBH must be getting on a bit these days)

I keep seeing various motoring shows on random channels on Sky when I am lost for something to watch late at night

Then there's the internet where there are a number of car "channels".

I'm not sure if we will see such a show return to broadcast TV because many people will always try and compare it to TG and they will never compete on ratings.

Maybe this is one more nail in the coffin of broadcast TV as we know it.

Maybe the internet is the future here?

The internet is where it's at. If I want to know about a particular car I just watch reviews and other videos on Youtube. It usually leads to me spending hours clicking and watching associated videos until i notice it's got dark outside.

Top Gear is what it is, accept it and watch it or go have a snooze through DoI (took me a while to figure what that was) like HotCoupe. One thing is for sure, there is no way the BBC will change anything about the show in the foreseeable future. Viewing figures will need to drop through the floor before anything changes and that just ain't going to happen.

Few other point.
1. Clarkson should have bought a 1M for that money. he could probably just have snipped one at that price
2. Hotcoupe, your post is highly gay.... however, you are sooooooo right about that Irish bint. Girl looks like a creosoted scarecrow wrapped in tinfoil most weekends and is such a personality vacuum that she actually sucks the atmosphere out of my own living room via the screen.

haven't a fucking clue what the last few posts have been about but from last night's viewing the EVO analogy still stands

i think we all know that a German diesel and the tunnel would have won but it was always going to be a petrol ford and a ferry.

The things are filmed over a few days anyway, the camera car range rover constantly in the shot

the one with the London to Edinburgh train, bike and car - my neighbour helped restore the train and had a black Vincent - there is no way either would have done the trip in the time the gave the impression it did on the programme

The star guest thing is what makes me switch over, it's always just a very transparent plug for a new book/film/CD and the interviews all seem to be written by the interviewee.

Everything else is very watchable, they really do have an excellent standard of production.

What has "DoI" got to do with a top gear thread then?

It's on at the same time - hence it's the alternative viewing.
