Girlfriend backed into the house!!!
Well I made the mistake of having my girlfriend pull the cars in the driveway the other night. My driveway curves and I'm guessing she couldn't navigate the slight bend & hit the house. So my question is to all the bodywork/paint guys is this, how bad to do you think this hit is? I'm not too concerned with the bumper because a mtech bumper is already being ordered but there is a slight and scratch underneath the taillight where the bumper meets the qp. Can anybody chime in?

a good touch up should get it looking okay. i doubt it will even be noticeable afterward.
the only other option is respraying the entire quarter panel, which i doubt you want to do. |

If the new bumper is coming, has it already been sprayed? If not, it might be worth asking whomever is going to spray that to do a little blending into that side - two birds, 1 stone.

If you want that new mtech bumper to be a 100% match you will need to pay to have them blend the color into the quarter panel anyway, on both sides. as a body guy this is what i would recomend for the best repair/procedure. Second best would be to blend just that side. Third solution to go would be to do a small touch up and only paint the bumper. The plus side to third solution is that you could put back on your oem humper and it would match.
Personally i would pay to have the bumper matched to both quarters. Its a signifigant cost increase but the only way to gaurantee perfection |

The edge of the panel you pictured can't be fixed by detailing. Your'd have to touch it up. The other marks that went through the paint make it so polishing would remove the white marks but not the rest. I'd repaint it.
