New wheels: VMR Flowed formed v710 gunmetal on black
Got some new wheels/tires and have been meaning to take pictures. I snapped a few photos the other night on my way home. One of these days Ill get some better pics!
2008 328i 93,000 miles (had her since 37k and over 5 years now) 6MT Sports package Xenons New Wheels/Tires: VMR Flow Formed V710 in custom powdercoat Jet Anthracite (matte gunmetal) 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 Hankook V12 Ventus Evo2 summer tires 235/265 Love the wheels! Makes my car much more clean and subtle than my old Beyern Mesh wheels... I am a big fan on the tires too. very nice to DD and street driving. Flow formed wheels are noticeably lighter than my old cast Beyern wheels. Car drives great with them and is very responsive! I want to give a special thanks to Brandon VMRWheels ! I bought the wheels/tires direct from VMR and Brandon made the process very easy! Other Mods: MTEC V3 angel eyes Tinted amber overlays OEM front splitters 3M carbon wrap on my front grille Carbon fiber mirror caps Carbon fiber OEM style truck spoiler 6MT ZHP shift knob Window tint ... red tail light overlays. Still not sure if I like it or not. I cut the red film them around the triangle shape until many of the other pre-lci tails I've seen, I had some Depo Blacklines but the light bars were sagging and looked like hell. Let me know what you guys think! One day I'll get better pics and not use my Phone Ha.

Nice.
This might sound crazy, or is probably just in my head... but my car seems to handle better with the lighter flow formed wheels as opposed to my old cast wheels. One of these days I need to put them both on a scale a see the weight difference... I am almost sure it would be around a 5lb difference or so. Flow formed FTW

I disagree, I think gunmetal wheels on a black car is a great look. Even if it the wheels were black it would be aesthetically appealing to my eye-- not boring at all.

I went with gunmetal to give the car contrast, as I feel like all black wheels sometimes get lost, especially on a black car. The gunmetal is dark enough to match well, yet 'grey' enough to make them standout. Really happy with the wheels, and very happy with the Hankook V12 Evo2 tires!!

I'm going to commit a cardinal sin and bump this old old thread because even after being tagged, I somehow missed it...
Looks stellar! There is enough contrast there while still maintaining an aggressive look. I dig it
