Work has been a pain in the @$$ and haven't had a chance to take the car in yet. I have everything set up to have the parts installed just need the time to do it now. Rest assured I haven't forgotten about this thread.

has anyone attempted to install the sub frame bushings at home?

Not happening. You need to drop the subframe, and you need a specialized BMW press to get the bushings to go in.

Kamando you really should consider sticking the M3 sways in -- at least the rear for now, when the shop has the subframe down.

I'll have to look at a German dealership to get the sways since shipping from the states wouldn't get here in time for the install. If the price is decent with the conversion rate I'd consider at least the rear. Are these the parts I need for the rear sway?

Make sure with the dealer and check the parts -- don't let what happened to Fraggy happen to you!

In choice of rear sway, you should plan out what further mods you are going to do. Most folks start with springs&shocks and then later realize that the bushings are too soft. Suspensions are a system. The components need to be matched.

Just ordered the M3 sways front and rear. The price was great, for the two bars, 2 complete bushings and mounts for each bar it came out to 254 Euro w/o tax.

KW V2 or V3. you'll be happier with the results I think. Come by D co and I'll show you mine. And could save you some money to and help you with the install. I did my V2 myself and took it to Tauber and had them corner balance the car and then get an alignment.

I have been leaning towards the BMW Performance setup for a couple reasons:

*It has proven to be a good match to the M3 components I will have installed. (takes out a lot of the guess work involved with going with something else)
*The price is reasonable (from Tischer) and still less than a lot of coil over setups. (Being both Rear-D and married, double whammy I know lol, don't have a nice big chunk of deployment money to throw around.)
*This car is currently the only vehicle for both me and the wife so I want something that will work well as a daily driver yet offer the performance on the track when needed.

That's my reasoning FWIW.

You would think that they would have had a fricken clue since they took the original rear out.

I had to use the German to English dictionary to see whwere your camber is.

It looks like your shop adjusted the front camber, and the only way to do this is to pop the pin on the top of the strut mount. If they did do this then you are not taking full advantage of the M3 wishbone links.
The M3 wishbone links will add negative camber but in your case, you now have less.

If I were you, I would first see if the pin is still in place. If it is not, then I would go back to the shop and ask them to put the camber at the maximum negative camber, which in your case looks to be -43', which is -.7 degrees.

For reference, I went from -.3 degrees to -.9 degrees on the left and from -.2 to -.8 degrees on the right.

My car was aligned at the same shop, so this is for comparison. One thing i noticed was the specs for min and max which was for a 2005 E90 instead of a 2008 E90 were Kamando sheet is for a 2007 which i think mine should be also, but both cars are within min and max settings.

My alignment after KW V2 installed and being corner balanced
