Sorry.. I should be more specific.
The COBB AP unit is universal. Once I un-marry it from my car its identical to ordering it from the website! The way it works, is you download a access port manager file from the website. Through this program you upload there custom maps straight to your computer! they have maps for 07 auto or manual, and even 09 xi! You then flash that map to your car. It is specifically made for your car! Mad Villain, when I sell it to you I am also selling my time! I can personal assist you in downloading the software and flashing it to your car! I'll even bring the beer we can drink when I show you how it works! Thats how fast this tune is! If you floor it with traction of.. you get wheel spin.

Disagree about the manuals being slow! My car was bogging 3>4. But since my new pump was installed, I've not experienced any bogging at all.
It's pretty much impossible to shift faster than the crazy good auto box on this car. But I wouldn't swap manual for anything .. well maybe DCT  I have new firmware to try tomorrow on my car .. can't wait  Need to finalize my meth order this weekend too .. be cool to have it in by mid-June. |

Advise your father it actually performs better with the vehicle.
You get better gas mileage on 91 octane, also timing is controlled better ETC. Just let me know if you can get the 900 and its yours! |

Bit of a "cool story bro" here .. had a business trip up to Edmonton yesterday & today .. and brought one of my colleagues along with me to assist.
I drove my car, and he wanted me to show him what it could do. So I floored it from a stop, and two cups of coffee come flying out of the cup holders, covering him in coffee. Meanwhile he is shouting all the expletives under the sun.. "turn off the afterburners" .. LOL. He was horrified about how fast it went. My driving style was quite subdued for the rest of the trip. |

OMG! HAHA..... I feel bad for the guy about the coffee bit though...
Question, could you try switching maps to the * fuel effecient map* next time you do some highway driving? Let me know how it goes! I am also liking JB4 because I can switch to that map during the days when I drive 80km highway to and from work! I'm thinking I'll get another 200km to a tank and I should save about 200 a month!!!!!! I can then flash back to map 2 or w/e as soon as I get back into the city. |

LOL thats sux and is increadibly awesome at the same time! i also feel bad for the guy with coffee all over him....but those cup holders are pretty useless...and he asked for it haha

I felt quite bad for the rest of the journey.
I totally forgot the coffee was there when I nailed it! Still, better for hot coffee to land on him than on my leather .. ha ha. I don't think you'll regret the JB4, vader. Especially with your new mods. Watch out Corvettes .. LOL |

Looks like BMS is all set to release a new fail safe box, to allow direct methanol integration to the JB4 without the need to purchase an expensive controller (CGMS/VC2).
I was minutes away from ordering a VC2, but Terry's new product seems much better. Basically gives the JB4 100% control over meth input & output. For now, I'm going to buy the charge pipe & bov .. and wait & see what happens next week With this new kit, everybody will want meth! Edit: ER Charge Pipe + Elbow + Meth Bungs + Tial Q BOV ordered from mike@n54tuning .. hope it doesn't sound too ricey .. ha ha. Last edited by bigup; 06-04-2011 at 12:31 PM.. |

Today was such a gorgeous day to cruise!! Had many looks at my car, many people turned there heads when my exhaust ripped through down town calgary haha.
Even had some guy with highlights and oakley sunglasses with a hot blonde girlfriend race me from the lights in an Austin Martin Vanquish or DB9 or something like that.. Man he must have been surprised when I was starting to pull on him HAHAHA! |

Good Aston Martin kill .. nothing feels better than running cars that cost many times more .. and then staying ahead. Significant power loss for him at our altitude, too.
Speaking of which, fact of the day, did you know that the North West corner of Stoney is about 500 feet higher than the North East corner? Kept wondering why my ears were popping along there, so had to investigate! Need to get your FBO, then meth, then (maybe) RB turbos -- you'll be walking the Gallardos in town .. he he |
