How did you lunch ? How much rpms ?

It is an AT and we just brake torque and load up the rpms as the lights are coming down, ends up being between 2500 and 3000. All Season tires (goodyear Eagle F1 AS)

you did it again hotrod--I wonder what you could do with a day like we had yesterday. i knew it was our chance--

With the Caddy-a rwd car-- days like yesterday are not ideal. The air is good, but with temps so cold , the tires are never warm enough to hook well. I seem to have my best track times in my RWD cars in low 60s with sun out to warm the tack a little

Good ol' Lapeer Dragway, I haven't been there in years. Definitely will head back out there, hopefully this summer. Congrats on the 11 second run.

So what did the CTS-V do?

Congrulation again Mike and Elise, very good runs.

I think it will be very tough for me to beat your time without add power or less weight. I weight 210lbs and I have a hitch (30-35lbs) install on my car. Probably 0.1 here and another 0.1 for more power you have ...downpipe. And is very tough to be very consistant for me with 6mt at launch.

But I wil try again next week...cold temp and sunny (last time at track...cold but cloudy)...I guess 12.05-12.09 for me in good condition.

And If is a invitation...this summer I will go with my family take a beer with you in Michigan.

I'm at 6 hours of Toronto anyway. Maybe Hotrod to...I don't know where come from Hotrod.. A little meet of JB3 n54

A+

Oh a question: your UR downpipe are catless but is a great diff with cat UR downpipe. In term of hp...because with cat downpipe?...maybe my warranty will be good. (I have ask to my dealer and he tell me that)

the ctsv did 12.3 @119. Its a total challenge to launch--have to feather it 1/3rd of the way down the track. That car is UNREAL from a roll at any speed, but is actually best at, and built for --the twisties and curves.

the downpipes, in my opinion, make the biggest difference when added to the tune. I can't prove this, but I think the catless are going to be more power and faster times than the Catted-although not a lot. Just makes more sense--better air flow. Yes-I too weigh 210, and even get the same 60 ft times-Elise weighs only 140 and that gives her .1 or .2 better times than me.

I really think you will get into the 11s and re take the record with either--your car is fast and your a helluva driver. I am not going to do anything else to my car--thats it. It is very streetable--and a street ar that is an 11 second car is good enough for me.

Hotrod is in California..but if your in toronto or michigan--or anywhere near michigan--we would love to meet up for a few beers!!

real world or track? In the real world --where you don't have drag radials- the 335xi is darn near unbeatable at a stop light. I hav only run the CTS-V stock, and on its street tires at the track. On DRs its mid 11s-stock.

From a roll-the V SICK! The 335xi, on map 7 or 8 and race gas will kinda hang with it for a feww seconds, but then so long. Have tried this by the way on the way to the track....fictional roads of course

I think the downpipes will put you in the 11s. Get rid of that hitch and get some lightweight wheels too--you will be the fastest then no doubt. And remember--my car (and soon to be yours) are the only 335s to hit elevens on street tires/wheels. all others have been on Drag Radials.

Yes XI's rules...same time on street and track.

**how any hp you think for AR catless DP?**

catless DPs can add 15-20 hp--but the real gain is that it allows your JB3 to work better--allows that engine to breathe. I really think if you get good air at track, get rid of that heavy hitch, you could see 11.8 in that car!!

You'll also get a lot better throttle response and spool up will be much quicker. I love my AR pipes.
