K&N Apollo Cold Air Intake Systems for 320D

Anyone actually tried this:

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...?Prod=57A-6042

I have a stock 2006 E90 320D (11/2006 E90 320d Saloon M47N2 Europe Right hand drive )

I am looking for some more extra power and found this on K&N's website.

Any difference in performance? Sound?

I received some feedback from K&N Europe on this product:

"When we tested this kit we achieved 7bhp@4000rpm on both the 318d & 320d."

Not bad for the 318d and 320d guys on the board like me..

335i guys with n54 ran this kit too and saw 10hp gains, I will look to see if I can use it on n52 engine.

check that your MAF is not connected to the air box. otherwise you will need to mount it some how to the new solution

diesels apparently can use this no problem.

Gas powered BMW have an air flow sensor (MAF) in the airbox. So any intake we get has to have a place to mount the MAF
